I thought Id start out this blog with a rant. Christians dont know where their religion came from, they just assume that they know. Christians don't know that the Old Testament originally came from the Code of Hammuradi, and the Epic of Gilgamesh. Christians dont even know that some of the places mentioned in the bible never existed, or only existed recently like Isreal. Isreal NEVER became a country, and the bible said Isreal was a CITY, not a country. Bethlehem was a graveyard not a city. Nazareth was a mountain range, not a city. Christianity is made up of five religions: Judaism, Zorostrianism, Buddhism, Paganism, and Mithraism. Zorostrianism was the first known monotheistic religion. Christians love to claim they are the true religion and theyre going to heaven, yet they treat others like dogcrap. It gets ridiculous after awhile.
I probably have more to say, but I would recommend these three books: The Dark Side of christian history by helen ellerbe, Kingdom Coming, the rise of christian nationalism by Michelle Goldberg, and Ten things I learned wrong from a conservative church by John Killinger.
